The Alexander Technique has been helping people move more easily and effectively for over 100 years. In this workshop, you will learn about the principles of the Technique, and about how it can be used in everyday life. Most of us have many habitual patterns of tension, learned both consciously and unconsciously. These patterns can be unlearned, enabling the possibility of new choices in posture, movement, and reaction. Through this awareness students will learn to manage the effects of stress, improve performance in stressful situations, and avoid repetitive-use injuries more effectively. These simple strategies can help you do just about anything with more ease and flexibility.
