Owner, Still Point Manual Therapy

Rob is passionate about helping others recover from health problems that require holistic treatment from a variety of traditional and nontraditional healing approaches. He is most fulfilled when working with clients to help them access the natural healing power they possess. His manual therapy approach has evolved during the past 25 years during which he has treated clients.

Rob specializes in kinesiology and treatment of adult neurological dysfunction. His approach blends neuromuscular massage, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, zero balancing, somatoemotional release, reiki and therapeutic touch. Rob is also trained in neuromuscular, sports, and Swedish massage.

One of Rob’s ideal client is one that sees him as a “last ditch” option. Rob shares a situation he had with a client. “This client had pain radiating down his dominant arm and hand and could not get relief. He had been through the entire medical system with no relief, which is often the case with my clients. He had seen multiple doctors who had ordered nerve conduction studies, MRIs, and two years of therapy addressing symptoms related to carpal tunnel syndrome. Yet he had no relief and was desperate. After my initial evaluation, I determined that this client had pronator teres syndrome, and immediately worked to address the root cause. After eight visits he was pain free and able to play golf, lift weights, and live his life. Helping this client return to daily life was extremely gratifying for me!”

Rob earned his Ph.D. in Motor Learning and Control from Auburn University in 2006 and has taught at Spalding University’s Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy since 2008. He also provides mentorship for doctoral research.
