Erika Parsons
Owner, Sip N’ Let Grow
Functional Nutrition Lifestyle Practitioner, Plant Based Nutrition Certification
Since 2016, Erika has dedicated herself to helping both men and women in navigating various health challenges, with a particular focus on digestive issues, weight loss control, and recovery after weight loss surgery. During this time, she had the privilege of working alongside Karla Jarvis, a Nurse Practitioner, as a Functional Nutritionist. Together, they collaborated to support patients in gaining control of their health conditions, including high cholesterol, fatty liver disease, kidney disease, and achieving their weight loss goals. Through Erika’s experience and ability, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the intricate relationship between nutrition, health, and overall well-being.
Erika’s skill set and ability lie in collaborating with women who are navigating the stages of menopause, providing them with comprehensive support to manage their weight, emotions, and hormonal changes effectively. Erika does this through guiding: Hormone Balancing, Weight Management, Emotional Health, Nutrition Supplementation, and Lifestyle Modifications
Erika’s passion lies in empowering individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives through education, guidance, and support. She believes that everyone has the potential to achieve their goals and live their best life, and Erika is dedicated to helping them unlock that potential.
She is deeply committed to providing comprehensive education on nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle choices, by equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their health. By empowering them with this information, Erika aims to inspire positive changes that promote long-term well-being. Erika believes in the importance of creating balanced, realistic approaches to nutrition and wellness that can be supported over the long term, rather than quick fixes or fad diets.
Erika’s favorite clients are the ones who approach their sessions with an open mind and a willingness to try new things. They understand that past attempts at improving their health or achieving their goals weren’t failures but rather learning experiences. Instead of being discouraged, they see each attempt as a step towards finding what truly works for them. These clients are open to setting aside any preconceived notions they may have and are eager to explore new possibilities. They understand that true growth and progress often come from stepping outside of their comfort zones and embracing new experiences.
During sessions with clients, Erika enjoys seeing the curiosity and enthusiasm these clients bring. They ask questions, share insights, and actively take part in discovering what works best for them. Their willingness to try new approaches and techniques makes the sessions dynamic and rewarding.
